The calculator on this site is provided for information and orientation only. It gives a rough picture of take-home pay after PAYE and UIF — not an official determination of your tax or your net pay. The results are estimates based on the rates in force. Those rates follow the sources cited on each page, a recent change may not be reflected here yet, and none of them has been through our final sign-off, so they must not be used for official, employment or tax decisions.

Not professional advice

Nothing on this site is financial, tax or legal advice, and using the calculator creates no advisory relationship. For an authoritative figure, refer to SARS directly or consult a qualified adviser. Your actual PAYE and UIF depend on details the calculator does not capture — among them your exact age, medical-scheme membership, retirement contributions and other income.

No warranty

We take care with the calculations, but we make no warranty that the figures are accurate, complete or current, and we accept no liability for decisions made on the basis of them. The site is provided on an “as is” basis, and it may be changed, corrected or taken offline at any time — particularly while the figures carry no final sign-off.

Data protection

How we handle data is set out in our privacy policy and cookie policy, including your rights under South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). The site still has no account, no sign-up and no form, and sets no tracking cookies — Google Analytics 4 runs on every page now, but cookielessly, writing nothing to your device.
