This site runs Google Analytics 4 on every page, without setting a cookie: there’s no account, sign-up or form here, and the figures you type into the calculator stay in your browser. What Google still receives from each page view is set out below.
What we collect
Nothing, through the site itself: there’s no account, no sign-up and no form, and the calculator runs entirely in your browser — the pay figures you type into it are never sent to us or stored anywhere. Google Analytics 4 does run on every page of this site, though. For each page you view, it sends Google an aggregated ping carrying the page address, the referrer, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and your device or browser type.
Analytics and advertising
Google Analytics 4 runs cookieless on this site: every storage signal here — including the one analytics or advertising would use — is denied by default for every visitor, and there is no consent banner that could switch any of them on, so on an ordinary visit nothing about you is written to or read from your device. There is nothing here for you to consent to as a result, and we run no advertising. One read does take place, named here rather than passed over: on every page view our own measurement code looks in your browser for the gr_int internal-visit flag, which keeps our own testing out of the figures. It is a single switch rather than an identifier, it is written only after a visit with ?internal=1 appended, and the cookies page describes it in full. If we ever extend analytics storage beyond what already runs, or introduce advertising, this policy — including how it sits under POPIA — is rewritten before it happens, not after.
Your rights
POPIA gives you rights over your personal information. Because this site holds none, there is nothing to access, correct or delete. Last updated: aug 2026.
